The law firm of your choice (buyer’s attorney) will represent you and review your promissory contract prior to closing the deal.

* The fideicomiso (bank trust) is required for all foreign investors who purchase real estate in the restricted zone (within 100 km of the border and 50 km from the coast). As the beneficiary you will retain control of the trust, allowing you to lease, sell, or bequeath the property as you wish; the bank simply holds it in your name. If you are Mexican, the bank trust is not necessary.
